The Learn@Work project involves partners with a wide network of institutions operating in the field of VET and ICT-supported training. This network serves an important purpose in the dissemination of project results as well as critical reflection on issues related to work based learning. ATiT is active member of EDEN - the European Distance and E Learning Network – is a network of education and training professionals who share knowledge and understanding in distance and e-learning matters across the Europe, and who promote policy and practice for this domain. EDEN has more than 1000 individual members and 197 institutional members, involved in distance and eLearning, in all sectors and phases of education and training. EDEN holds annual conferences as well as additional conferences on research and on the schools sector every two years; EDEN has its own open source journal EURODL.
Within Kaleidoscope ATiT is active member of the Gateway stakeholders club: the interface between the research community of Kaleidoscope and the stakeholders interested in the outcome of the Kaleidoscope community, including researchers, business and education strategists as well as practitioners, teachers, policy makers and PhD students.

It was launched on 25 April 2002 in partnership with EU Commissioner Reding.
http://www.elig.org/The Belgian network for Open & Distance learning encourages the implementation of eLearning in business life. BE-ODL has a strong believe in the future of eLearning and wishes to introduce this training method to a broad public. The Belgian Network for Open and Distance Learning is a non-profit organization that aims at establishing cooperation between statutory organizations and private companies with a view to a growing implementation of e-learning in training programmes for employees. BE-ODL links organisations and companies with a rich experience and expertise with modern information- and communication technology. Five or six times a year, BE-ODL organises seminars at which practical cases are presented. Furthermore, BeODL produces manuals and participates in projects.
http://www.be-odl.org/Voka is the Flemish network of companies and enterprises that are member of the Vlaams Economisch Verbond; it represents 17.500 companies, 60% of all private employment in Flanders, in total more than 900.000 employees from 24 different sectors of work. Voka is actively lobbying and negotiating with political, governmental, and social partners, furthermore it is strong in networking for its members. The activities are supported by a strong knowledge centre, that also organises training and exchange sessions. ATiT has been actively participating in these activities.

UNIZO is the most important and influential organisation of independent entrepreneurs, with almost 85.000 members from all economic sectors, active on local, regional, or international markets. UNIZO defends the interests of independent entrepreneurs, advises them, and organises info- and networking sessions. ATiT actively contribute to training and networking sessions about training and eLearning in the SME.

FMV has over 120 member companies, representing a total turnover of 200 million euros and more than 2.000 jobs. Flanders Multimedia Valley was founded in 1999 and has not only established a solid network in Flanders, but also abroad (through the European Multimedia Associations Convention). ATiT is an active member contributing to the elearning cluster of FMV.

Online Educa Berlin is the key annual networking event for the international technology-supported learning and training industry. It is the industry’s largest international forum, attracting high-level decision makers from education, business, and government sectors. Attendees forge essential cross-industry contacts and partnerships, and enhance their knowledge and expertise. Over 2000 participants attend the 3 days of workshops, seminars, conferences, and discussions.
TTnet (EU)The Training of Trainers Network – TTnet – is a network of national networks set up by Cedefop in 1998 as a Pan-European forum for key players and decision-makers in the training and professional development of vocational teachers and trainers. TTnet’s national networks are representative national forums of key actors involved in the training of teachers and trainers from both the public and private sectors. They provide expertise to support practitioners and inspire decision-making. Through its activities and cross-country thematic projects on commonly agreed VET priorities, TTnet contributes to the implementation of the EU policy framework for VET teachers and trainers. ATiT connects with TTnet through the Belgian and German national networks.
ATiT is member of SEFI, the European Society for Engineering Education, founded in 1973, and now the largest network of higher engineering institutions and of individuals involved in engineering education in Europe.

ATiT participates actively in the transfer of knowledge about training and elearning in the workplace to the members of the association, which convenes two times per year.
http://www.bc2000.be/A representative of ATiT is member of the ad-hoc Expert Group that advises the Digital Flanders Commission of the Flemish Regional Parliament regarding the digital development in Flanders, mainly by means of an analysis of strengths and weaknesses.
The KMO-IT Centre is an independent organisation that stimulates Flemish SMEs to use and develop ICT within their company or organisation. The activities cover basic infrastructure, automatisation, mobile solutions, and performance management. KMO-IT advises and consults with SMEs by means of its interactive website services, informative technological dossiers, a newsletter, road shows, workshops and focus meetings. KMO-IT stimulates innovation by application of ICT.

Trainers’ Network: The Trainers Network brings together trainers and facilitators of learning from all sectors, public and private, specialist and general, to share learning and experiences in relation to best practice, recent innovations, quality standards and professional development.
Skillnets: Skillnets is an enterprise-led support body whose mission is to enhance the skills of people in employment in Irish industry. Its focus is competitiveness and employability. It is funded by the National Training Fund and its stakeholders include leading employers and employee representatives such as IBEC, Chambers Ireland, CIF, SFA and ICTU.
Enable Ireland: Enable Ireland provided supports, as well as training and development opportunities for over 3,500 adults and children with physical disabilities.

National Adult Literacy Agency (NALA): NALA is the state funded agency with responsibility for policy, research and training in the area of adult literacies including literacy in the workplace.
City of Dublin Vocational Education Committee (CDVEC): CDVEC provided vocational and training education for adults in the city of Dublin in several colleges throughout the area.
Dublin City Council: Dublin City Council is the governing and administrative body of the city. It provides a range of professional and work-related training opportunities for its employees. It also manages the city libraries.
The Irish Business and Employers Confederation (IBEC): IBEC’s objective is to create and sustain the conditions in which business and employers can co-operate and develop. It provides the public face of Irish business for its 7,500 members. It also provided education and training opportunities for its members.
Fas e-College: Fas e-college provides on-line training opportunities and accreditation for workers.

The Further Education and Training Awards Council (FETAC): FETAC is the council responsible for developing standards for vocational occupations and for accreditation of VET training courses.
The Higher Education and Training Awards Council (HETAC): HETAC is the council responsible for quality assurance of awards made by higher education providers other than the DIT and the universities.
Community Links: This is a series of innovative projects designed to provide education and training opportunities in communities close to DIT campus sites. In particular it focuses on ICT literacies in disadvantaged communities.

LEAP: DIT Access Programme
LEAP is an access programme organised by the DIT to provide opportunities for students from low income families to achieve third level qualifications.
Líonra: Líonra is a network of third level colleges in the border, midlands and west regions of Ireland whose purpose is to increase the regional economy through training opportunities for the workforce.

ITAC is a representative, research and consultative body for all providers of apprentice education in Ireland.
The network for ICT and learning
The network for ICT and learning gives researchers, students and practitioner partners from institutions and companies the opportunity the meet and share knowledge and experience concerning ICT-supported learning in different contexts.
The network meets in traditional physical meetings 3-4 times a year for workshop activities. If suitable activities are video-recorded for later video-streaming of the event on-line. The network also has a newsletter edited by a coordinator. The newsletter is also circulated 2-3 times a year.
The local Learn@Work partner takes active part in the network and in running it. The CoED tool developed in Learn@Work has also been presented and tested at a network seminar with 32 participants. The event combined dissemination with the invitation of critical and constructive comments on the tool.

E-learning lab is the local Learn@Work partner and a research lab in Aalborg University. With a staff of approximately 20 people and only two of those directly and formally involved in the Learn@Work project it is worth mentioning that a number of internal workshops and seminars has focused on Learn@Work spreading knowledge of the project to the rest of the group and collecting valuable expert feedback to the project. Through e-learning lab Learn@Work links with several national and European networks (e.g. the Kaleidoscope Network of Exelence).

GLIA: GLIA (gehirn lern impuls agentur) is a small company located in Tyrol, AT, that provides consulting and project management in the field of workplace learning. Their main concerns are innovative concepts in the field of vocational training with a focus on the establishment of new cultures of learning. IFS has been working together with that insitution for some time. GLIA was also involved in the provision of one of the pilots carried out in the framework of the L@W project.
amg-tirol: amg-tirol is a pivate consulting institution with a main focus on work based learning. amg-tirol was a major partner in the second pilot - training for low-skilled workers.
TIBS: TIBS (Tiroler Bildungsserver) is the main institution in Tyrol, AT, that coordinates e-learning activities of educational insitutions. IFS has cooperated with TIBS in several projects. TIBS also organises the annual Bildung Online conference which also serves as a venue for the dissemination of findings of ICT-supported learning.
MERIG: The Multidisciplinary European Research Institute Graz [MERIG] aims at linking researchers and institutions from diverse areas in order to pursue and support common policy goals of the European Union.
MERIG, a private non-profit research organisation, bands researchers from different scientific disciplines and experts together. MERIG regurarly organises the Intenational Conference on "Intercultural Communication, Business and Learning Competences" (ICBLC) and therefore is also an important partner in the dissemination of projects related to ICT-based learning.
BFI: BFI (Berufsförderungsinstitut) is one of the major training providers in the field of VET in Austria. IFS is involved in a project on ICT-based learning coordinated by BFI.

LFI Tirol: LFI Tirol (Ländliches Fortbildungsinstitut) provides training for the rural population in Austria. LFI is cooperating with IFS in the development of a project on work based learning and Communities of Practice in the field of agriculture.
